The Secretary General for Sports of the Junta de Andalucía, José María Arrabal, who was unable to attend the official inauguration of the Padel World Summit due to scheduling conflicts, attended on May 23rd to convey the support of the Junta de Andalucía for the world’s largest event for padel professionals.

During his visit, the Secretary General for Sports of the Junta de Andalucía toured the Expo B2B stands to firsthand understand the sector’s needs and gauge the market’s pulse. Additionally, he took the opportunity to meet with several members of the Padel World Summit Organizing Committee, as well as participants of the event, including Fabrice Pastor, president of the A1 Padel professional circuit, who expressed his support for this event, which will contribute to the continued growth and international expansion of padel.
José María Arrabal’s presence surprised attendees -as it was not expected- and underscored the commitment of the Junta de Andalucía to the development of padel as a driver of economic and social growth in the community, as well as to the Padel World Summit.

With the closure of the event, it is evident that padel continues to gain ground as one of the fastest-growing sports in the world, and the support of figures like José María Arrabal or Fabrice Pastor strengthens its international expansion.
